Michelle Mednicoff
Founder & teacher
Since the age of 24, Michelle’s passion for yoga and its positive impact on her physical and mental health has been a huge part of her life. She began practicing regularly and earned her first 200-hour certification under Edely Wallace, owner of Yoga Matrix in Orlando, who specializes in Hatha and Lymphatic Yoga. Because of her love for the practice, she immediately signed up for her second 200-hour certification under Mark White at MBody Yoga in Jacksonville, FL, specializing in Baptiste Yoga.
She soon started at Orlando Power Yoga teaching 15 classes a week, eventually becoming the manager responsible for 3 locations, 30+ instructors and hundreds of students. Michelle has taken and applied teachings from some of the world’s most renowned teachers, including Dharma Mittra, Seane Corn, Wah! and Baron Baptiste.
Born and raised in Central Florida, Michelle began working in the service industry as a busser, hostess and server, eventually moving into her first leadership roles as shift leader and floor manager. After leaving the service industry to pursue her dream, Michelle and her husband welcomed their first child in 2018. They love doing anything outdoors.

Carly Bernard
Teacher
Carly has been teaching yoga for more than 10 years, and she has never stopped being a student. She keeps learning through workshops and trainings, and brings that curiosity to every class she leads at Central Florida Power Yoga.
Her teaching is alignment-based: steady, intentional movement that builds strength in the body and calm in the mind. Breathwork and mindful moments are woven through her classes, so you leave feeling both worked and grounded.
Beyond the mat, Carly is passionate about meditation, breathwork, energy work and mindful living. She believes we are all students of life working toward the same goal of living well in mind, body and soul, and that each of us is built a little differently, so every practice should honor that.
